The ALGAE-X Fuel Polishing Systems keep diesel and middle distillate fuels in “pristine condition”. There are numerous configurations. The TC On Board Tank Cleaning System is for high volume (over 1,300 gallon) tank configurations. The FPS system designed for up to 1,300 gallon tank configurations, is available in two varieties. The FPS-500 is a 12V DC (or 24V DC) system for use on vessels with tanks up to 1,000 gallons at circulation rates of 150 gpm. The FPS-750 system is a 110V AC (or 230V AC) for use on vessels with tanks up to 1,300 gallons at circulation rates of 210 gpm. In addition, the FPS-500A and FPS-750A is available outfitted with a unique "service filter" alarm panel. The FPS-550A comes equipped with both the Alarm Panel and a Racor filter.
All of these systems are ideal for use on tanks of vessels, vehicles, generators and heavy equipment.
Stage 1: The ALGAE-X Fuel Conditioner reverses the process of fuel deterioration, buildup of tank sludge and stabilizes the fuel.
Stage 2: The centrifugal water separation system removes water.
Stage 3: The fine filter removes solid contaminants. Water Block filters are available for removal of water, even emulsified water, from your fuel.
Since fuel is inherently unstable, solids begin to form and the accumulating tank sludge will eventually clog your filters and damage your injectors. It will cause engines to smoke, lose power and ultimately break down.
The FPS conditions and stabilizes the fuel, eliminates microbial contamination, removes water, tank sludge and contaminants from the tanks. The principal components of the systems are an LG-X 500 MFC in the FPS-500, an LG-X 1500 MFC in the FPS-750, a continuous duty gear pump, a timer and a fuel filter water separator/coalescer with a vacuum gauge. The Magnetic Fuel Conditioner (MFC) decreases the size and mass of fuel droplets which leads to better filtration and water separation, clear and bright fuel, optimal combustion and clean tanks.
The system is compact, easy to install, operate and maintain. The ALGAE-X MFC unit is self-cleaning, has no moving parts, no electrical hookup, and requires zero maintenance. The filter/water separator unit removes water and particulate from the fuel. It can be easily drained by opening the valve on the bottom. The filter element can be back-flushed several times before replacing.
