Carter Fuel Pumps
Compact, Universal Electric Fuel Pumps for diesel and gasoline. The Carter pump is a self-priming, positive displacement (rotary vane) pump. It is available in 12V or 24V DC and meets Coast Guard regulation. Ideal for use in fuel re-circulation and transfer systems.
The picture above shows a Basic ALGAE-X Recirculating System that can be easily implemented into the existing fuel system by adding an LG-X 200 Fuel Conditioner, a Carter fuel pump and a three way valve.
With a flow rate of up to 72 GPH this system is ideal to keep fuel in pristine condition in sail boats, diesel powered boats or gen-sets with tanks up to 300 Gallons.

Additional Information about Fuel Recirculating Pumps
Self-priming, high-capacity, extremely compact, excellent suction capability. Diesel and oil transfer pumps are available for different voltages and frequencies starting standard at 3 GPM to 30 GPM. equipped with self ventilating induction motors all with IP 55 protection, class F insulation and thermal protection. A y-pass valve is located in the pump body. The pump casting is cast iron treated against corrosion and painted. The pump rotor is sintered steel with a Stainless Steel strainer built into the pump body.
