Whether you're storing fuel, operating a boat, snowmobile, motorcycle, lawn mower, ATV, RV, antique or classic automotbile, personal water craft, pressure washer, snowblower, generator or other machinery, you need the Water Eliminator®, the most cost effective way to remove water from Gasoline, Diesel Fuel, Fuel Oil, Kerosene or Hydraulic Fluid.
The Water Eliminator® presents an easy and economical solution for removing water from fuel storage tanks, reducing the potential for microbial contamination and accumulation of sludge in tanks. The Water Eliminator® is available in various sizes for engine service or day tanks and large fuel storage tanks. Refill cartridges are available for the Water Eliminator sized for the large fuel storage tanks.
The Water Eliminator captures water directly from the fuel, or oil in the tank. The ALGAE-X Water Eliminator® helps to prevent service problems related to water contamination including: Plugged Fuel Filters, Fuel Line Freeze-up, Damaged Fuel Pumps, Corrosion, Damaged Injectors, Growth of Algae, Loss of Power and Down Time.

The WE-2 Vehicle model requires a 1.3 inch minimum opening. It cannot be used in vehicles with an unleaded fuel restrictor or anti-siphon device. For a vehicle with a bend or a horizontal run in its filler pipe, a stiffer lanyard may be required.
Unit must lie flat on bottom of tank. For tanks over 12" depth, attach one snap clip to the Water Eliminator® cap and the other snap clip to the fuel cap. For tanks over 27" depth, attach two lanyards together and follow the above instructions. For tanks less than 12" depth, bend the lanyard in half with a sharp crease. Attach the snap clips located on the ends of the lanyard to the Water Eliminator® cap. Move the floating snap clip to the crease and attach it to the fuel cap. Leave the Water Eliminator® outside the tank when fueling if the fuel float is located close to the filler.
Check the Water Eliminator® at each fuel stop. If the unit is empty, your tank is water free. Leave in place until nearly full, then discard in a proper receptacle and replace with a new Water Eliminator®. (Disposal in accordance with local and federal regulations.)
In vehicles with two tanks, place one unit in each tank.
If your vehicle has a badly polluted fuel tank, several Water Eliminators® may be linked together to form a chain. To link the units together, we suggest using a #3 safety snap swivel and a split ring. |
The ALGAE-X WE-2 Water Eliminator® Model for vehicles consists of 2 Double 7" x 1.5" units that lie on the tank bottom, retrieved by a 30" lanyard. The unit goes into the tank through a fill pipe of 1.3 inches in diameter or larger. The fill pipe needs to provide a fairly straight path to allow for easy retrieval. The water eliminator should lie flat on the bottom of the tank, and is not designed to withdraw around sharp corners.
For Tanks up to 27 inches in depth, attach one snap clip to the fuel cap and the other to the unit. For tanks over 27 inches deep, attach two lanyards together and follow the above instructions. Remove the water eliminator from the tank when refueling.
Check your Water Eliminator® at each fuel stop. If the unit is empty, your tank is water free. Leave it in place until nearly full, then discard in a proper receptacle and replace it with a new one. (Disposal in accordance with local and federal regulations.)
The ALGAE-X WE-S31 Water Eliminator® for large storage tanks (1000 gallons or more) has a 32 inch by 4 inch stainless steel housing that uses disposable inserts. Its lanyard is an 18 foot stainless steel chain and includes an eyebolt with rubber seal to attach to tank fill cap.
Each insert will remove 1 gallon of water. Several Water Eliminators® may be linked together to form a chain. The replacement insert for the WE-S31 is Part No. WE-B31.
The units contain a water adsorbent polymer that captures free or emulsified water on contact when placed in the tank.
For optimal results we recommend to not use additives which contain water dispersants. The ALGAE-X Water Eliminators® should be removed from the tank in less than sixty days. The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from improper use of the product.
